THE BEST VIEWPOINT IN SOUTHWOLD
Southwold offers a place by the sea for people looking for a break away from the busy-ness of life.
For the best views, head toward the Sandy Dunes - on Denes Beach. You can see views of the town, marshes and beach. There are also plenty of opportunities to explore the harbour, marshlands, and neighbouring Walberswick by foot - it is like one giant playground. If you stop and sit in by the restaurants / pubs at the harbour, you can do a bit of boat watching.
Enjoy the high streets’ independents, all unique and interesting to explore. It is home to exceptional food and drinks. Adnans have a large shop and restaurant selling a multitude of local beverages and in this town, they take coffee seriously.
If you are searching for traditional fish and chips, arcades, ice cream, building sandcastles with a bucket and spade this place has it. It is both, you can have it all in Southwold.
Southwold is lively, rough around the edges in all the right ways and for those reasons I love it.
